Well that’s just show boating !! Your mother can’t take antics like that so more gently next time :)
10 outta 10 for acrobats kid🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️😒
Our team marshalling paddock hill had zero visitors all weekend until you and Danny came to see us on the last lap of the last race. Much as we love meeting you we’ll settle for a wave on the wind down lap rather than a personal visit!
Result this season really doesn’t reflect your ability and commitment, expecting a championship from you in 2022! 🏍🏁🏆👍
Geez, you got some airtime there Christian! Glad you’re okay . Took this shot if you at Donnington a few weeks ago.
Wishing you all the best for your wedding 🥂🍾
Glad you’re ok Christian .. just wasn’t meant to be this year but what a season you had. Enjoy the off season and your wedding .. see you full gas in 2022!!!
OMG didn't think you were thrown so high of the bike Christian, hope your hand heals quickly and you both have wonderful wedding 👰🤵🥂💗 xx
Dude I was wondering what TF went on at paddock hill! Didn’t show it on TV. I’m a lot clearer now. I’m glad you are ok from it. Take it easy man 🤘🏼
Didn't know you could fly as well, that's one time you had to let go of your bike, all the best for your wedding day, shez one lucky lady.
Glad you’re ok that was one heck of a crash! Good luck to you and Nicola for your big day
Looks horrific. So glad you’re both ok. Concentrate on your wedding now and have a great time celebrating. XX
My heart was in my mouth watching that, even screamed out a lil. So glad you're ok. You were so dazed.
On another note, hope you have a Wonderful Wedding Day! And look forward to watching you next Season! Xx
Jesus!! Glad your OK. We came down to the garage after the race to ask your team how you were. You were just getting your stuff together so good to see you were OK. Better luck next year!
Glad you’re ok. A very unlucky season. Doesn’t reflect your talent at all.
But you got through and rode like a champion racing is a cruel mistress good luck next year
Lucky you are ok. You did a great season, on to 2022 Christian and enjoy the break! 💪🏻✊🏻
Almost managed a full Superman. Stay strong 💪. The most frightening event is about to come your way. Good luck Chris . . .
Wow its incredible the knocks that you guys shake off the. Glad your are OK enjoy your wedding and a few months off - we'll be cheering you on again next season!!!
Ffs, I can’t be doing with the stress, thank goodness it was the last race weekend. Reminder to self, give the riders a bottle of Radox instead of packets of Haribo! 😉
Pleased your mainly ok. Only saw the dust cloud as we was stood on the exit of graham hill bend. Those syntetiq bikes are clearly attracted to yours
Lucky to walk away from that mate!!!!! So annoying when it’s not your fault!!! Let’s hope 2022 is a better year luck wise 👍👍
We were watching from further down the hill so heard the scrapes then saw marshalls running was horrible few minutes while they got to you and assessed you ..good to hear you survived mostly unhurt.. at least you now have time to heal properly xx
I had a clear view from Bennetts Hospitality. Taz’s rear wheel lifted off as he was cranked over on the inside of Tommy. Everyone gasped as it did. It was incredible how he made it stick, but then when you and Danny came through and you shot up into the air and both went hammering at full pelt into the safety barrier, the gasps were replaced by loud vocal expressions of horror. I’m so glad that you escaped relatively unscathed, all considered. Your grandad must have been looking over you.
Wow, you would never know that was coming your way, big air, glad you're generally OK.
I was stood near there really looked a scary crash you looked like you were dazed Hope your ok now I admire you guys ..👍🇬🇧
Breavest of the brave Christian Iddon Racing.have a nice quiet winter and all of the best for Christmas.hit the ground running pre season and just be you.the dream will come mate
It was a disappointing end to a great season for Stockport’s Christian Iddon as the Visiontrack Ducati rider headed to Brands Hatch in contention for outright Championship victory in the Bennetts British Superbike Championship.
Iddon, just fifteen points off in the standings as they headed to the Kent track claimed a spot on the front row of the grid for Race One, backing it up with a podium finish as the Season headed to it’s climax.
Running in third position for the majority of Race Two is was only in the latter stages that Christian was passed by fellow title rival Jason O’Halloran [Yamaha], leaving him in fourth as the chequered flag fell. Elsewhere Yamaha’s Tarran Mackenzie had overcome Tommy Bridewell to victory and seal the 2021 Title, leaving Iddon, Bridewell and O’Halloran to battle for second place.
Christian was on a charge in Race Three, giving it everything he had, which led to an albeit brief spell in the lead, he settled in to the final podium position until he was taken out of the Race at Paddock Hill bend, with just one lap remaining.
Christian said; “We went in to the weekend with really high aspirations, fifteen points behind the leader, third in the Championship, which meant all was to play for. We had a really good qualifying, I was strong in all the practice sessions, and things were looking really good.
“I led the start of the first race and had a really good battle, the safety car came out and I just lost my rhythm [after the restart], I struggled to get the tyres to work how they had done earlier on, unfortunately I finished third which meant I lost points to the Championship leader, which was frustrating as it meant Sunday was going to be difficult in order to try and take the title.
“In the first Race on Sunday I would consider that I got the most out of what we had. We’d been struggling with spin all weekend and we never really got to the bottom of it, and it really showed up in race two. I was running third for most of the race and I lost the front with two laps to go, lost the podium position and finished fourth, which meant that my challenge for P1 in the Championship was done.
“[In the final race] the goal was to get second in the Championship, I was only four points off. Again, I did absolutely everything in my power, we changed the bike quite a bit, I think we’d made some progress but ultimately not quite enough. I was taken out on the last lap, out of third position. It was a quite a massive crash, probably the biggest of my career, thankfully we got away with it relatively unscathed, little bit of a break in my hand but nothing major.
“It’s a disappointing way to finish the season. We’ve got to hold our heads high, we scored thirteen podiums this year, which is very strong. There’s lots of ifs-buts-maybes, three times I’ve been taken out by another rider, all in a podium position, and taken off track in a similar scenario. So had it not been for those, who knows what might have been.
“I’m content knowing that I gave my all throughout the year. A big thanks to Visiontrack PBM Ducati, and to all the sponsors for all their efforts this year. We didn’t get the end result we wanted but it wasn’t for the lack of trying.
🙂 great job. Only disappointment for the final result not for the determination skill and focus
Fantastic to watch you Christian … you can most definitely hold your head high and know your fans can’t wait for the next season to begin !!! 💪💪👍👍👏👏
Well done Christian you had a great season pity you were taken out 3 times by other riders you would have had a lot more points look forward to watching you next year have a great wedding & good break
What an awesome season for the fans. All the best for next season💪
It says something that a rider of your quality can’t win BSB….. immense talent and depth of field. You can be proud of what you’ve achieved and build on it for next year
You played a blinder all season and got through some tough times. You did everyone proud. Next year buddy, next year 🏆
100% commitment and some fantastic results. Time for a well earned rest and prep for 22. Best of luck for the future
Super season Christian, just a run of rotten luck in the middle. So sorry it didn't end the way you wanted it to, but to put yourself in that position is the sign of a terrific year - really good signs for next year too.
Head held high, for sure. Well done to you and all the team.
Not disappointing to your fans . You gave 100% throughout the season , and next season in sure you will be back in the hunt for the title. Best BSB I've watched ever ,nailbiting to the end . Chill out , regroup and keep on winning

We saw you riding out of your leathers every race, it's a shame that it didn't go your way, but we'll be rooting for you next season for sure. Now to have some down time & relax!
The end result wasn't what I had hoped for but we gave it our all and I'm proud of what myself and my squad have achieved.
From the start of the season where we could seemingly do no wrong, to a middle part where I could do no right, we battled back and never gave in and were able to end the season strong and fighting for the title.
Thanks to all my family, friends, sponsors and supporters for everything you guys do for me as there is no way I could do this without all the incredible support I receive.
Thanks to PBMotorsport for putting an incredible bike beneath me and a fantastic team around me.
Thanks to BSB, to the marshals and the medics for all that they do.
Now to recover, get married, chill (but not for long) and then get fully focussed on 2022 ... See MoreSee Less

Christian Iddon Racing: “It’s hard to believe we are at the final round already; it’s come around really quickly… I’m fully aware of what I have to do, and I need to get a really strong result in Saturday’s race to take the fight to my rivals on Sunday." #ForzaDucati ... See MoreSee Less
Stockport’s Christian Iddon claimed to a trio of podium placed finishes in the latest round of the 2021 Bennetts British Superbike Championship, at Donington Park in Leicestershire. The result of which closed the gap at the top of the standings, leaving him in third place, just fifteen points behind title rival Tarran Mackenzie [Yamaha] with one round to go.
A fall in Qualifying left Christian with a lot to do, sitting seventeenth on the grid for Race one. But unfazed by awful wet conditions, a trademark start from the Visiontrack Ducati rider saw him climb to ninth at the end of the first lap. Iddon made steady progress through the rest of the encounter, dealing brilliantly with the slippery surface to climb to third as the chequered flag fell.
Starting the second clash a little further forward, fourth on the grid, Christian made an immediate impact on the Race climbing to second on the road, and by lap eleven he’d taken the lead. With four laps to go he conceded to Mackenzie and Danny Buchan [BMW], going on to take a third place finish.
The final Race of the weekend looked like it might never get started, as heavy rain caused a delay after two lots of warm-up laps were aborted and the rider headed to the pits. As the storm clouds passed and a rainbow looked down over the former Formula One venue, Christian climbed immediately from his fourth placed grid spot to second, and would hold the place to the flag, with Gino Rea [Suzuki] ahead and Lee Jackson [Kawasaki] behind.
Christian said; “The Championship standings are so much better. We’ve reduced the gap from thirty-three to fifteen [points], that’s the main thing, it’s all to play for at Brands Hatch now, we’ve had a good weekend and managed to stay onboard in treacherous conditions in Race one and three.
“I’m also happy that we stayed near the front in the dry as well. In all conditions, it was good to be competitive in every way.
“Race one was good to get that first podium. I got through to about ninth on the opening lap, and that many people fell off that I didn’t have to pass many people following on from there.
“Race two in the dry I struggled, I was surprised that we got a podium in that Race, but the pace was slower because of the wind, it was really difficult to ride and be constant so we were somewhere near.
“That final Race was probably the best one of the weekend, I had a much better feeling on the bike, in the wet, than I’ve had in a long time. The sensation from the front and the rear was just a lot nicer and I think myself, Gino and Lee were the only ones who developed any real heat in the tyres, and I think that’s why we had such a large gap to the rest of the field”.
Christian now heads to the final round of the 2021 Bennetts British Superbike Championship, sitting third in the standings - just fifteen points off the top spot, at Brands Hatch on the 15-17 October. ... See MoreSee Less
Well done Christian, three podiums in some terrible conditions, I wouldn't choose to ride in conditions like those never mind race in them, you've taken a good chunk of points out of the McCams lead, let's hope you have a great ride at Brands, its well within your reach!!
Good luck for Brands Christian. You can do this, I can't wait to see you lift that trophy. You deserve this for your hard work this season 👬👍🏍🏁🏆
Brilliant weekend for you Christian and PBM team, on to Brands to show everyone what a brilliant rider you are 🏍👍🏆 xx
Cmon Christian, this is your year, you have to win this championship. 🏁🏁🏆🏆🍾🍾
