Christian Iddon is upbeat following the UK race debut of his TYCO BMW S1000RR, despite limited testing ahead of the opening round of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship at Silverstone.
Christian Iddon , from Stockport, scored a brace of top-tens, as the Bennetts British Superbike Championship made it’s annual pilgrimage to Assen in Holland.
Nursing a broken collarbone from his accident at Silverstone three weeks ago, it was tough going for the former World Superbike racer, and a technical problem in free practice two was a blessing in disguise.
Bennetts British Superbike rider Christian Iddon claimed a brace of top-ten finishes, as he returned to duty for the first time since breaking bones in his hand during a fall at Oulton Park six weeks ago. The TYCO BMW racer claiming ninth and eighth place respectively in the series’ two outings at Snetterton in Norfolk.
