Christian Iddon has confirmed he will, once again, be riding for the TYCO BMW team in the 2018 British Superbike Championship, after the former World Superbike rider put pen to paper on a third year with the Northern Ireland based team.
The British Superbike Championship returns to Cheshire this weekend. Stockport’s Christian Iddon is third in the standings as round three arrives at Oulton Park. Much of his preparation has been in the garage – but not the kind you’ll find at the track. Chris Hall has been to meet him.

On the 2nd December Christian undertook arm pump surgery on both his arms in Herrentals, Belgium. The operation was undertaken by Dr Claes on the morning of the 2nd to relieve compartment syndrome commonly known as ‘arm pump’ within the racing fraternity.
Christian will now undergo a short period of recovery before being able to re-commence training in preparation for the 2017 BSB season.
In the endless pursuit for success. Love racing. Not much more to say really
